At school a couple of Eric's friends have been bugging him to join a water polo team that plays every Wednesday night at the school. He thought it might be fun, and has casually mentioned it to me a couple of times, but last night he specifically said he really wanted to do it, and thought it would fun. He asked if it would be too much for him to join the team, since we don't really see each other much anyway. I was a little surprised that he asked me, but secretly I just love that he asked me! It made me feel so special, like he was asking my permission or something. I of course gave it to him, provided he takes me to watch him every Wednesday from now on. Because I said so.

So after work today, he picked me up and we went to his best friend Tyson's house to have dinner with him and his lovely wife Sarah. Sarah gave me hope for the future because she got me excited about wedding things and about being a wife. Just like me, she does not enjoy to cook and claims not to be very good at it. The food she made us tonight was delightful though. If that is what being a wife to a really hungry boy does for you, sign me up. I'm excited to learn!

Then from there we headed to water polo. I'm going to be a "water polo fiance" now. Every Wednesday night now is water polo night! Work to dinner to water polo.
